    The PRO

    July 7, 2010

This is 1 of 13 cards I worked on for 5Finity’s The Pro Sketch Card set based on the awesome book by Garth Ennis, Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti. Apparently this set did so well that it sold out just a few hours after being announced online. I had a great time working on this set. Make sure you check this blog out on July 15th because  I’ll be posting the rest of the cards up.

    Convention Wrap Up

    July 5, 2010

So I’ve been crazy busy the last few weeks and have completely forgotten to post about how the Philadelphia Comic Con and Florida Super Con went. They are both great shows and I had a blast meeting a whole bunch of great artists.

First off Philly! Philly was a lot of fun! Got to draw some great commissions of which I’ll post a few at a time since I’m waiting on a friend who took the rest with his camera.

    (Kilowog-DC Comics)

    (Libra-DC Comics)

    (Don’t Remember)

Again will post up more sketches as they come in.

As for Florida Super Con, it was a great show too, a much younger crowd than expected but overall it was good. Forgot the camera for this show (D’OH!), but I did get the chance to meet fellow sketch card artist Danielle Soloud and a couple of other talented individual so that was pretty cool.

Well the next big show for me will be Baltimore Comic Con which is pretty exciting, so I will see you all there! Till next time.

    Batman

    May 31, 2010

So If you’ve seen me at cons then you have probably picked one of these up. I love to make free promotional cards to give out to fans. This was one of them. Before tackling the piece I already new what elements I was going to add in photoshop and what I would need to leave out in the actual line art. Below is the inked version for comparison.

I still have a bunch of these and will be giving them out at the Philly Con. I’m currently working on a new one as well, so I might just preview it here on the blog before the show… lets see. Either way if you’ll be attending Philly stop by, I’ll be taking both sketch and sketch card(PSC) commissions, and selling sketchbooks as well.

    PS: Happy Memorial Day everyone!

Also wanted to mention that I will be participating in the Superheroes for Hospice Comic Book Show this Saturday, April 24 from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The show will be located at Livingston Mall located at 112 Eisenhower Parkway in Livingston, New Jersey.
